Online Safety

We expect that many students will be using the internet to access learning resources throughout the school closure and therefore we advise parents to be vigilant in their supervision when children are using the internet. We would also advise parents to continue to teach children how to become responsible online citizens.

CEOP Education Team have provided guidance which can be found on https://www.nwgnetwork.org/ and https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/professionals/resources/

Not in Our Community have also provided resources and videos on online safety, which can be found on https://notinourcommunity.org/

The Local Authority have also shared the following documents:

Home Learning

We believe that children achieve their best when home and school work together as a team. Parents and carers play a vital role in supporting their child's learning, and by working in partnership we can provide the encouragement, consistency, and confidence children need to thrive. Home learning offers valuable opportunities to practise new skills, develop independence, and share learning experiences as a family. Together, we can help every child enjoy learning, reach their full potential, and celebrate their achievements every step of the way.

Please take time to look through our homework policy and if you have any questions please talk to your child's class teacher in the first instance.

Pupils also have access to two online platforms which are filled to the brim with exciting educational content for them to explore. Pupils in Key Stage One and Two regularly access Doodle Maths and Purple Mash in school but if you would like any additional support with logging in, please contact your child's class teacher.
