This week, the children have been using a range of descriptive devices such as: similes, powerful verbs, adjectives and adverbs to write about the island in Kensuke's Kingdom. The children worked together in pairs and small groups to generate ideas.

This week, the children completed their art work for the upcoming North Lincolnshire Schools Open Exhibition 2026 at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre. They all drew their self portrait and then using pastels and pencil crayons, completed their background. After that, they used pictures of things that they hold dearly to them to bring their art to life! They all had a great time.
