A message to all of our pupils!

IMG_0062

Dear parents/carers

I am hoping that you and your loved ones are continuing to stay safe and well.

Unfortunately, due to the continued lockdown because of the corona virus, school has continued to remain closed for the majority of pupils but is now open for pupils who fall within the designated 'keyworker' or 'vulnerable' category to support the children and their families during these difficult times.  Parents/carers of identified vulenrable pupils have already been contacted and informed that they have the opportunity for their child to attend school.  Parents should feel reassured that every precaution and safety measure has been put in place to safeguard both pupils and staff.

The government recently published its plan to open school for pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 on the 1st June.  This is not confirmed at present and is dependent on what happens over the next week but I will endeavour to keep parents informed as to how this develops and let you know when pupils can expect to be back in school.  Please see the letter at the bottom of this page for more information regarding the proposed opening or on the Parents page under Letters Home.

All of our staff will continue to work hard to support all of our pupils and their families while they remain at home and support their learning through the Seesaw app. Links to various home learning sites and projects can be found on this website under the Home Learning page.  Should you need any advice or information, please just contact the school on 01469540232 and I will do my best to help.

Take care everyone and stay safe.

Carol Eaton

Free school meal arrangements

While the school continues to remain closed for the majority of pupils, parents/carers of those children who are entitled to Free School Meals, can collect their child's meal bag (week's supply) at the school gate from 12 - 1pm every Monday .

Should you need to contact the school, then please telephone (01469540232) or email admin.killingholme@northlincs.gov.uk or head.killingholme@northlincs.gov.uk.

If you are experiencing any difficulty in the community and need some help during this time, please contact Diane Evans from the village Parish Council on 01469 541514.
