In Maths this term, we will be looking at place value, number and fractions. We will be answering a range of fluency questions as well as trying to tackle some very challenging problem solving tasks.
In English, the children will be assuming the role of a lighthouse keepdf to write a diary extract and then writing a set of instructions to create the famous Mexican treat – Gingerdead men. This will be linked to our Geography and History topics that we will be studying during the Autumn term.
In R.E. the children will be exploring different faiths during the Autumn term and particularly the religion of Hinduism. We will be looking at their places of worship as well as the importance of Dharma to all Hindus.
In Art, we will be exploring Leonardo da Vinci and looking at what made him one of the most famous and recognisable artists to have ever lived.

Homework
Reading books should be brought into school every day.
Homework is set every Friday and should be completed by the following Thursday.
Homework tasks consist of:
P.E. Information
Class 4 have PE every Monday and Thursday. Children must be wearing the appropriate kit to participate. Earrings must be removed or covered and long hair must be tied back.
PE kit:
On PE days, children should attend school in their PE kit.
