Welcome
Welcome to our class page! Mrs Eaton, Miss Eaton, Mrs Dinsdale and Mrs Black are looking forward to seeing all the children and we cannot wait to hear all about your summer holidays!
Our Learning
Welcome to an exciting new term! We are really looking forward to getting stuck into our learning and exploring lots of new and fascinating topics together.
In Maths, we will be exploring mass and capacity as part of strengthening our skills in using and interpreting measures, as well as developing our understanding of statistics and shape.
In Geography, we will be learning about rivers and the water table, discovering how water shapes our world.
Our History lessons will take us back to the time of the Tudors, where we will learn about Henry VIII and explore his place in history.
Alongside this, in Englsh we will be reading How to Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell, using the story to inspire our imagination and writing.
In Science, we will be investigating sound—how it is made, how it travels, and how we hear it.
In Art, we will be focusing on the artist Georgia O’Keeffe, studying her beautiful flowers and landscapes. We will explore her painting techniques and use them to create our own printed artwork.
Finally, in PSHE, we will be focusing on relationships, helping pupils to understand the importance of respect, kindness, and communication.
We are excited for a term full of discovery, creativity, and learning!
