Welcome

Welcome to our class page! Mr Jensen, Mrs Dinsdale and Mrs Black are looking forward to seeing all the children and we cannot wait to hear all about your summer holidays!

Our Learning

In Maths, we will be exploring the place value of numbers to 10,000 and strengthening our skills in using strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems.

In English, we will be writing a descriptive piece based on the book  'Leon and The Place Between'. We will use a range of different skills such as expanded noun phrases and fronted adverbials to make our writing interesting.

In Geography, we will be exploring volcanoes, earthquakes and tectonic plates.

In History, we will be looking at the Anglo Saxons and exploring their place in history.

In Science, we will be learning about human and animal biology.

In Art, we will be focusing on the artist Johannes Vermeer, studying his most famous painting 'Girl with a Pearl Earring'. We will be practising a range of drawing skills.

In PSHE, we will be focusing on relationships and developing our self esteem and character.
