Autumn Learning
Welcome to our Learning Journey 26-27
During Autumn Term in Year 3 and 4, we will be developing our reading comprehension skills, retrieving key information and using evidence to explain our answers. We will be looking at the story of Bills’ New Frock. In Maths, we will be exploring place value of numbers to 10,000 and developing our skills in addition and subtraction.
In History, we will be exploring changes in Britain from the Stone Age to the Iron Age and in Geography we will be exploring the United Kingdom and using maps. We will be looking at creating money containers in Design Technology and online safety and coding in Computing.
In P.E., we will be working on our fundamental skills along with fitness, dance and gymnastics. Laurence Stephen Lowry will be our Artist of the term and we will explore his pictures and learn all about his life and inspirations. In RE, we will learn about Hindu deities and we will look at Christmas traditions. In PSHE, we will discuss being a good friend and relationships.

Homework
Reading books should be brought into school every day.
Homework is set every Friday and should be completed by the following Thursday.
Homework tasks consist of:
P.E. Information
Class 4 have PE every Monday and Tuesday. Children must be wearing the appropriate kit to participate. Earrings must be removed or covered and long hair must be tied back.
PE kit:
On PE days, children should attend school in their PE kit.
