Harvest Festival 2019

Remembering to give thanks

Each year at Killingholme Primary School we take time during September to reflect and give thanks for the fact that we all have access to regular meals and that true hunger is not something many of us have experienced. We have reflected that this is not always the same situation across different parts of the world.

Community Links

As part of our harvest celebrations many of our families kindly chose to donate food items for our own Killingholme food bank. Families at school nominated members of the community to receive one of our harvest food parcels. On Friday our Head Boy and Head Girl along with Nevaeh and Mrs Renwick hand delivered the harvest parcels to the grateful recipients. Many thanks once again to all our families who were so generous with their donations.
