On Thursday, it was World Book Day. The children came dressed up as a character from their favourite book. The day was filled with lots of exciting activities.

This week, the children continued their learning with enthusiam. On Tuesday, it was Safer Internet Day. The children engaged in fun and informative activities that promotes online safety and digital responsibility. Miss Cavill and Mrs Robertson hope you all have a lovely half term!
W/C 3rd February 2025
On Friday, the children took part in a fun-filled football session! The children spent the day learning new skills, from dribbling and passing to shooting and teamwork. We can't wait for more football fun in the future!

This week, the children had the exciting opportunity to experience swimming with school for the very first time! With smiles, splashes, and a lot of enthusiasm, the children enjoyed their swimming lessons, learning essential water safety skills and gaining confidence in the pool.
W/C 13th January 2025
This week Year 1 have been very busy starting their new topics in the curriculum area. They have enjoyed learning about the Kings and Queens of the UK. On Monday, the children took part in Sphero and on Wednesday, the children enjoyed a science show from the Royal Institute of Science.

Miss Cavill and Mrs Robertson have enjoyed welcoming all of the children back to school after a well-rested Christmas break! We have some exciting new topics starting this Spring Term.
