Far Ings Nature Trip 16.10.24
Today year 1 and 2 have had a brilliant day at Far Ings Nature Reserve in Barton. The children have enjoyed looking at different habitats around the reserve. They have looked for birds and spent some time pond dipping. We founds lots of wildlife and made some nature postcards with the things we found. We even spent some quiet time to use our senses to see what we could hear. The children were excellent detectives and have thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
European Languages Day 26th September
The children have really enjoyed making bunting of European flags and learning how to say hello in many different European languages!
wc 30th September
This week we have been learning about the life cycle of a frog in guided reading. We have also started to enjoy a new story called The Dinosaur Who Pooped a Planet. We all agree it's a really funny and entertaining book. Already we have thought about our favourite parts of it in order to think about writing a book review.
